For straightforward bookings, where you already have an idea of where you want to stay or what activities you want to do and need minimal advising, the Lark Travel Desk service provides complimentary reservations.

These are generally booked at the same rate you would pay booking directly, while providing access to added benefits (such as early check-in, free breakfast, room upgrades). Hotels, cruises, and tour operators generally pay a commission, so it’s mutually beneficial. Occasionally, I can secure a lower rate than is publicly available. I will always let you know if I see you’d get a better deal booking independently.

For trips that include extensive research, complex logistics, or multiple changes to refine the itinerary, there may be a modest planning fee.

The fee structure depends on the complexity of your trip, and will be provided up-front once we have a consultation call and a good understanding of what you are envisioning.

When you book through me, I can often arrange preferred amenities and VIP recognition, and I have a direct point of contact with my hotel partners if something goes wrong.

You get the perks, plus a person who knows your trip and is in your corner.

No. My goal is always to find the right fit for you. I have access to an extensive network of partner hotels and when using these, can often leverage relationships to secure benefits and amenities and a VIP experience for you. However, if a non-partner property is the better choice for a particular location, I'll recommend it.

I also can provide bookings with luxury private vacation homes and villas, but am not able to book with Airbnb or VRBO.

Flight booking is highly complex, and requires specialized expertise. I work with vetted Air Partners who can book Business or First Class travel for you. This service includes reservation management, and logistical support if there are delays or changes. Additional ticketing fees apply.

For Economy flights, I can provide recommendations based on optimal timing and your budget. It is best to book these flights independently so that you can directly contact airlines for support as needed.

I highly recommend at least a basic trip interruption/cancellation insurance plan unless you are certain your credit card plan provides adequate coverage.

Depending on their particular situation and the trip itself, many clients opt to purchase extended insurance and/or medical transport protection.

While I am not a licensed insurance agent and do not advise on specific policy details or coverage, I can help you understand the options for your trip protection, factors you may want to consider, and help you purchase a plan through vetted suppliers.
